The Drunken Poachers were a huge hit at last years Munari Winery Bluegrass Bonanza & were automatic starters for the Fourth Edition.. The band have been crafting their wares and hassling bar staff for drinks in pubs and bars around Melbourne for over a decade. Known for their rambunctious drinking songs that traverse the spectrum of Bluegrass and country music, as well giving a nod to their trad and folk predecessors through some old timey covers.

The Drunken Poachers, with their wily ways and wooden instruments, have snuck frequently, boot-clad and boozed onto Melbourne’s live music venues & festival stages across the country. Dishonest and dirty and wearing flannelette better than you do, they’re experts at leaving heavy heads and dented floors in their very catchy wake.

With the aid of banjo, gee-tah, ukulele and mandolin, backed by Irish fiddle, uke bass and propped up with lager phone and an occasional trifle of trumpet, their hearty harmonic throat is unlike any other. The Poachers have a rambunctious, yet endearing stage presence.

No strangers to winning over crowds with their foot stomping, good time singalongs. The Drunken Poachers will be performing a fullband headlining Stars & Bars show for  at Palling Bros Brewery Saturday Night.  Be There Or Be Square.
